Avalanche release some very important information concerning their 2025-26 season

The Colorado Avalanche have officially released important information regarding their 2025-26 Rookie Showcase, giving fans and media an early look at what to expect from the team's top prospects.
Top prospects Taylor Makar, Sean Behrens, and 2025 draft pick Linus Funck headline the Avalanche's roster for this year's Rookie Showcase.

Aarif Deen from Colorado Hockey Now writes that from September 12-14, the Avalanche will host the Rookie Showcase at South Suburban Sports Complex in Highlands Ranch, with the Utah Mammoth and Vegas Golden Knights also competing in the tournament.
The Avalanche's top prospects will report to Family Sports at 10:30 a.m. on September 11 for practice, with the Rookie Tournament at South Suburban Sports Complex kicking off the next day against Utah at 6 p.m.
After the tournament concludes, the Avalanche will hold their season-opening media on September 17, followed by the start of training camp at Family Sports on September 18 at 9 a.m.
Three days later, the Avalanche will kick off their preseason with two-split games against Utah, taking place at Magness Arena and Ball Arena.
All training camp practices will be open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket details for the Rookie Showcase games will be shared at a later date.
Please note that all dates and times are subject to change, and rosters for both the rookie tournament and training camp will be announced in the future.
