The Colorado Avalanche revealed their preseason plans for the 2025-26 season earlier today.

The team is set to compete in six exhibition games, three on home ice and three on the road.

Avalanche release their preseason schedule for next season.

The Avalanche enter the upcoming season once again as one of the top contenders for the Stanley Cup, marking the seventh straight year they've been ranked among the preseason top five by oddsmakers, with some even listing them ahead of the Florida Panthers as the outright favourite.
For fans eager to watch their team hit the ice for the first time since their heartbreaking Game 7 collapse in the opening round of the playoffs, the wait is over: Colorado has officially unveiled its 2025 preseason slate.
The Avalanche will face three different opponents: Dallas, Utah, and Vegas, across their six-game preseason slate, featuring a home-and-home format with each team.
The exhibition schedule kicks off on September 21 with a split-squad matchup against the Mammoth, both games taking place in Denver, though the location of the second contest is still to be determined. The Avs will then wrap up September with home games against the Stars and Golden Knights, before heading on the road to start October with visits to Vegas and Dallas.
"All six games can be heard on Altitude Sports Radio, 92.5 FM or 950 AM. All radio broadcasts can also be streamed on AltitudeSportsRadio.com or the Altitude Sports Radio App. Local and national television broadcast information will be announced at a later time. " -NHL.com

Single-game tickets for both the preseason and regular season will go on sale once the 2025-26 regular-season schedule is released at a later date. Fans can still secure limited memberships for the upcoming season by visiting coloradoavalanche.com/memberships.
