Heading into the 2024-25 season, Artturi Lehkonen's personal bests in goals and even-strength tallies were 21 and 15.

Despite missing the first 12 games due to offseason shoulder surgery, he expected both milestones, finishing with 27 goals, 25 of them at even strength. In the playoffs, he added three goals and one assists over seven games.

Coby Maeir from NHL.com writes that Lehkonen also recorded a career-high and team-leading five game-winning goals, along with 18 assists and a team-best +36 plus-minus rating. With those stats, he became just the fourth Avalanche player since the franchise relocated to Colorado to lead the team in both plus-minus and game-winning goals (including co-leaders).
"Lehkonen posted nine multi-point games including four multi-goal contests, highlighted by his first-career hat trick in a 4-1 victory against the Utah Hockey Club on December 27th." -Maier
He also notched his highest point total of the season on January 18th, tallying two goals and two assists in a 4-1 win over the Dallas Stars.
In the 22 regular-season games where Lehkonen found the back of the net, the Avalanche posted an impressive 18-4-0 record, equivalent to a 67-win pace over a full 82-game season. Overall, with Lehkonen in the lineup for 69 games, Colorado went 43-22-4.
"One of Lehkonen's five game-winning goals created a special moment. In their 3-0 win against the Chicago Blackhawks on March 10th, Lehkonen scored at 31 seconds of the third period to give the Avalanche a 1-0 lead. Picking up the secondary assist on the goal was Nathan MacKinnon, who, with that helper, reached the 1,000-point milestone." -Maier
Lehkonen heads into the 2025-26 season with two years left on his current contract. He's just 10 games shy of reaching 600 in his career and only 12 points away from hitting the 300-point milestone.
